PurposeResearch
ObjectivesBedform wavelength measurements were taken at 81 different points near the sea defences at Sea Palling by UEA. A 2-D rotary side scan sonar, mounted on a benthic lander with an Aquadopp was deployed. Sediment size measurements were taken over one tide at 32 different points near the sea defences at Sea Palling by UEA. These data are included as part of the LEACOAST2 project, which aims to evaluate the effects of shore-parallel breakwaters in tidal environments on coastal morphology.
