PurposeResearch
ObjectivesVessel sailed from Great Yarmouth and carried out side scan sonar and Humtec boomer trials. It completed lines 33-68 inclusive, totalling 1822km of regional survey including side scan sonar on all lines. Navigational accuracy remeained good. Gravity results continued to be excellent tying well with previous data. Seismic records emphasised the difference in geological regime between the Spurn and Indefatigable sheets.
