Aims
To carry out the English component to the international young flatfish programme in the North Sea and the eastern English Channel.

Team 2: Beam trawl survey of the Wash and area of Wells 3rd-6th September. Push net sites were sampled throughout 3rd-23rd September.

Results:
In total throughout the survey 232 hauls using the standard 2m beam trawl and 62 push net sites using the standard 1.5m push net sites sampled. All fish caught were identified and measured. Salinity, temperature and sediment samples were collected at each station.
