Description
Summary

The project objectives are to follow long-term trends in the chlorophyll-a content of the seawater. The phytoplankton chlorophyll content has been monitored at two sampling sites: Asko and Landsort deep. Sampling frequency has been once every month during winter, every week during spring and every second week during summer and autumn. Measurements at Asko station started in 1983 and at Landsort in 1990. Data from simultaneous sampling for water chemistry and physics are stored at the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI).
