2. To develop survey methodologies for the ROV.
3. If time allows, to undertake a camera survey of Loch Gairloch

General

The first 2 days of the cruise will be limited to the confines of Loch Broom. During this period, Alba na Mara will be used to deploy different configurations of the survey equipment. Both J Hunter and C Shand will be involved in the technical aspects of these trials. C Shand will then disembark on the morning of 3 of March, with a representative of SNH boarding at this time. Alba na Mara will depart early morning on 3 March and will steam to Loch Gairloch. The next six days will be spent in this area surveying the seabed and refining the survey technique. Alba na Mara will then make way for Ullapool on the evening of 8 March, where, upon arrival, the visitor from SNH will disembark. The vessel will make passage for Fraserburgh on the evening of the 8 March, arriving on the morning of 10 March for turnaround and preparation of next cruise.
