| Objectives | Aims
1. Deploy a Waverider and guard buoy at DWR A, DWR B and DWR C (C5228). 2. Deploy minilander at AWAC 1 and AWAC 2 (C5228) 3. Day grabs and CTD at AWAC 1 and AWAC 2 (C5228) Narrative Sail 21:30 4th Jan transit to AWAC1 for multibeam survey (completed 03:30 5th Jan) then on to AWAC 2 for a further multibeam survey (completed 06:00). A minilander and guard buoy were deployed before breakfast then day grab x 3, CTD rosette x 4 (hourly finishing at midday). The ship then moved to site AWAC1 deployed a minilander and guard buoy and collected samples with day grab (x3) and a CTD rosette. We then steamed the short distance to DWR C deployed a waverider and a guard buoy. Went back to AWAC1 to complete the CTD rosette samples (by 19:00). The final two sites (DWR B - deploy waverider and guard buoy, then DWR A - deploy waverider and guard buoy) were visited overnight on the way back to Lowestoft. |
