Objectives | FeCycle II comprised three interlinked components
a) A comprehensive study of coupled C and Fe bloom biogeochemistry during the evolution, termination and decline of the annual spring bloom E of the N Island of New Zealand. b) A detailed investigation of the fate of the bloom - particle dynamics & export during the bloom phases of evolution, termination and decline. c) Examination of specific processes occurring during the bloom decline - production of biogenic gases, particle remineralisation and microbial processes. | ||||||||||||||||
