| Objectives | The cruise was part of the ICES International Herring Larvae Survey. Gear used is a plankton sampler (Nackthai). The samples were taken on a standard grid (stations 10 nm apart). Additional sampling was intended to get information on vertical and horizontal stratification of zoo and ichthyoplankton. For this purpose, a multiple plankton net (Messhai) and an optical sampling device (ichthyoplankton recorder IPR) were used. |
