| Objectives | Biogeochemical cycling of N, P and C in the North Sea. Circular track (anticlock round) around the Southern Bight of the North Sea and track along the french coast untill Barfleur with continuous measurements of NO3, NH4, Si(OH)4, PO4, pCO2, pH and O2. Incubation experiments of uptake and regeneration process measurements for N, P and C at 5 stations. Phytoplankton counting and identification. Sediment cores taken at a few stations to determine sediment-water exchange rates. |
