This cruise is related to the EU-project TRACTOR, the national PROCLIM project and is also part of a joint Norwegian and UK cooperation initiated between the two countries' ministers of environment. The purpose is to map the distribution of SF6 and is a follow up cruise after the tracer release experiment. The experiment started in 1996 as a joint effort between researchers from Iceland, UK, Sweden, Denmark and Norway. Inorganic carbon variables will be measured, together with the general physics (CTD and LADCP).
