| Objectives | Annual shrimp survey conducted by the Institute of Marine Research, Norway. Fixed trawl stations (bottom trawl) for deep water shrimp (Pandalus borealis) and fish. Data for shrimp abundance and year class strength. Calibration of two types of bottom trawls. Hydrography and phyto-/zooplankton on fixed CTD-stations: Norway-Denmark ("Oksoe-Hanstholm") and Denmark-UK ("Hanstholm-Aberdeen"). Data collection (abundance and length measurements) of Norway lobster (Nephrops norvegicus). Collection of genetic samples of deep water shrimp for Swedish scientists. Collection of genetic samples of different species of flatfish for Spanish scientist. Collection of speciments of fish (European plaice, Gorden redfish and Spurdog) and samples of deep water shrimp for the Norwegian National Institute of Nutrition and Seafood Research. |
