| Objectives | Trawl and acoustic survey for blue whiting and mackerel stocks. Trawl survey of the Rockall haddock stock. Complex oceanographic survey of the Norwegian Sea aimed at development of long-term collaboration within the framework of ICES. Fish distribution will be investigated with hydroacoustic devices. Check trawlings will be made by midwater and bottom trawls with a minimum mesh size of 16 mm in the codend. Oceanographic observations including water temperature and salinity measurements and hydrochemical investigations will be carried out at stations of standard hydrographic sections and at trawl stations. Plankton samples will be taken by a Juday net. |
