| Objectives | The cruise is part of ICES co-ordinated International Herring Larvae Surveys (IHLS) in 2009/10. The main aim is to estimate the distribution and abundance of herring larvae for assessment purposes. The samples are taken on a standard station grid (stations are 10 nm apart) by a modified GULF III plankton sampler (Nackthai). |
