1. To determine spatial patterns and habitat preferences in juveniles of the two squid species commercially exploited in the English Channel (Loligo forbesii and Loligo vulgaris) 2. To test hypothesis inferred from adults by directly observing prerecruits. In particular to check spatial segretation in the two species (and in the non-exploited species Alloteuthis subulata) and related parameters (bathymetry, Western/Eastern gradient, inshore/offshore gradient and seabed bottom type). |
