| Objectives | Hydroacoustic and trawl survey on redfish in the Irminger Sea and adjacent waters. The redfish occours in this area in a depth between 200 - 1000 m. In this depth interval we find also a deep scattering layer disturbing the estimation of the redfish aboundance by hydroacoustical means. Therefore the aboundance is measured by hydroacoustics above the deep scattering layer and by trawl catches within and below this layer. |
