| Objectives | 1. To measure currents during a period of 7 - 14 days at three depths at each of seven points in the eastern Irish Sea by means of moored recording current meters.
2. To release Woodhead seabed drifters along a line of stations between Anglesey and the Isle of Man and over a small network in the region between St Bee's Head and Walney Island. 3. To measure surface salininty and temperature over the whole region and take serial observations at selected points. 4. To measure surface currents in th region by means of towed electrodes. |
