| Objectives | Mackerel Egg Survey 2015. Due to recent difficulties encountered in recent years by WGMEGS, the Working Group on Mackerel and Horse Mackerel Egg Surveys, in identifying the starting date of mackerel spawning it is proposed to conduct a number of surveys in the Celtic Sea, Bay of Biscay between December 2014 and March 2015 to see if this starting date can be more accurately identified. This survey is the first of four proposed surveys in the area between December 2014 and March 2015. |
