''Explorer'' made a call at Stornoway to change personnel on the 21/10/1977 leaving on the 22/10/1977. The ship docked at Greenock for repairs to leeking condenser tubes on the 25/10/1977. The cruise terminated earlier than planned when it became clear that the repair work would not be completed before the scheduled end of the cruise
