| Objectives | KH-05-2 cruise was planned to study biogeochemical and biological features of the central north Pacific through full depth transect survey of 160W from 10S to 53.4N by applying various state-of-the-art analytical techniques. Also, studies on board include continuous survey of aerosols and other atmospheric chemical components at the ocean/atmosphere boundary, and collection of undisturbed surface sediments to evaluate biogeochemical processes at water column/sediments interface. |
