| Objectives | Aims
Primary 1. To conduct an Underwater Video Survey (UVS) of scallop abundance in selected un-dredged areas to compliment data collected as part of the wider scallop stock assessment in the region. 2. To optimise camera configuration, deployment methods and platforms for scallop UVS survey. 3. Compare efficiencies of platforms, primarily the drop frame versus UWTV camera. Secondary 4. Collection of zooplankton sample at West Gabbard if time permits. 5. Use of continuous flow plankton imager device and image analysis work. 6. Spatial underway sampling for nutrients and salinity for GiA03. Narrative in attached cruise report. |
