1. To establish the current status of benthic habitat protected features within the Sound of Barra SAC and Wester Ross MPA, as well as sites out with these areas for comparison studies, using quantitative drop-camera sampling and grab methods. 2. To collect seabed samples using the day grab for sediment size classification and for infaunal analysis, and eDNA techniques 3. Repeating video sampling in Loch Carron 4. Additional drop down video stations focussing on maerl and Northern sea fans around the Sound of Arisaig, which were not completed during 0822a. 5. Drop down videos at further PMF sites focussing on maerl and Northern Sea fans. Narrative in attached cruise report. |
