ObjectivesSurveys in the Bristol Channel and Carmarthen Bay with the objectives:

1a) To measure levels of nutrients, chlorphyll, total suspended matter, organic matter and the zooplankton and phytoplankton populations.
1b) To characterise the hydrographic conditions at the two sites.
1c) To measure the feeding rates and development time of copepod at 2 sites

2) To continue a series of cruises to monitor the performance of the Bristol Channel area to update the validation of the ecosystem model GEMBASE.
