Leg 2:
The primary objective of this leg of the cruise was to sample the superficial sediments of the Halibut Sheet (Fig 1). The Orkney sheet was also a priority area and parts of the Shetland and Fair Isles sheets were areas that could be sampled during bad weather. The equipment on board was a vibrocorer system, gravity corers, and shipek grab, and a shipek grab camera. |
