| Objectives | 1) To take part in the ICES coordinated herring larval surveys in the Orkney/Shetland area.
2) Depth monitoring of the Gulf III sampler was successfully carried out using a Simrad cableless netzonde system attached to the side of the sampler. A half-landing took place at Kirkwell. Work was delayed and interrupted due to severe weather. The IOS monitoring system never functioned properley during tests and was passed over to ''Scotia'' on the 19/09/1982 |
