Objectives1. To complete the GLORIA coverage of the Romanche Transform Fault.
2. To investigate the transverse ridges and troughs associated with the fracture zones and to determine their nature and origin.
3. To map the active plate boundary in St Paul Fracture Zone.
4. To gain experience in using the survey camera (WASP) with acoustic navigation and in rugged terrain.
5. To obtain GLORIA and other geophysical data on passage around Kane Gap and the Sierra Leone Rise for colleagues at University College, London, and the University of Kiel.
