Objectives | 1. To survey the distribution and abundance of anglerfishes and megrims on the edge of the continental shelf between Shetland and the Outer Hebrides.
2. To collect basic biological information of anglerfishes and megrims. 3. To quantify the proportions of other commercial species (particuarly cod, haddock, whiting and saithe) in the catches. 4. To investigate the availabilty of species of potential commercial importance in deep water. |
