| Purpose | Research |
| Objectives | One of a time series of bottom trawl surveys of the North Sea, internationally coordinated by ICES. Data on distribution, relative abundance, size and age of all fin fish species caught are collected, together with surface and near-bottom temperature and salinity using Niskin bottle casts. In addition, surface and deep-water samples were collected for analysis for caesium. Additional samples were also collected for technetium. |
