Pelagic fishQuantity: number of hauls = 90
Description: Bottom trawling for (nominally) 15 minutes was carried out at as many sites as was practical in the Shetland region in the time that was available. The vessel's own dual purpose trawl fitted with a 20mm liner was used. Information on species composition, numbers caught and length fequency were collected where appropriate. Samples of cod, haddock, whiting and saithe were also taken for stomach analysis and age determination.
