Biology and fisheries | |
Zooplankton | Quantity: number of stations = 49 Description: 'Gulf VII - type' towed plankton sampler, deployed in a 'V' shaped profile from surface to near bottom and back to surface. Zooplankton and eggs/larvae collected using 270 um and 64 um mesh nets and preserved in formalin for analysis on shore. Volume of water filtered is calculated from data recorded by self-logging flowmeters. |
