Purpose	Research
Objectives	This cruise was taken in conjunction with Veracious II (Fishing vessel). This work programme forms part of the EU Project "Survival" (C741), which aims to investigate the mortality of fish escaping from trawl codends. The purpose of this part of the project (work-package 2) is to validate new sampling techniques. The field work for this work-package will take place in two phases: Phase I - Site Set-up and Advanced Diver Training; and Phase II - Field Experiment.
