| Objectives | Codends and small mesh covers were loaded and rigged in Aberdeen. The Altair then sailed for the fishing grounds. Fishing work continued uninterrupted from 17th - 25th May when the vessel returned to Aberdeen. Two further fishing trips were carried out before the charter period finished on 20th June.
A total of 110 hauls were completed and 107 of them used for analysis. All 3 codends, 80mm, 90mm and 100mm, and extensions were tested during the charter period. |
