PurposeResearch
ObjectivesOverall aims of the project are to measure the impact of nutrients on the primary productivity in the Irish Sea using new techniques such as fast rate repetition fluorometry (FRRF) and pulse amplitude modulation fluorometry (PAM).

The plan was to carry out 13-25 hour anchor stations on stations GY-T1, DB-T1, CB-T1, HH-T1, and LB-T1.
Due to bad weather station GY-T1 had to be abandoned after 6 hours.
Station CB-T1 could not be visited due to the weather and was substituted with 25 hours at station 100.
Station HH-T1 was substituted with 25 hours at HHA-T1.
Station LB-T1 could not be visited and was substituted with 25 hours at LBHH3-T1.

Transit stations were occupied according to the original plan, with the exception of stations M61, M66, 81, LBHH-5 and LBHH-4 which could not be visited due to the weather.
