Objectives1. To collect turbot in an advanced stage of maturation and return them live to the laboratory for larval rearing experiments.

4. Collection of live plankton to examine for infestive stages of parasites.
5. Collection of mature soles for use in genetics studies and larval rearing experiments (Dr Purdom, Mr Thacker).
6. Collection of stomachs of small fish for larval predation studies.
7. Collection of live fish for electrophysioiogy studies (Mr Bye).
8. Collection of osmall fish for feeding to laboratory stocks of turbot and halibut.
9. Routine sampling of plaice and small gadoids (Dr Bannister).
