PurposeFisheries
ObjectivesI. To sample the brill population in the Mablethorpe area.
2. To investigate the distribution of 0 and 1-Group brill, using the
2 metre beam trawl from the Caranx.
3. To collect small gadoids using a Dutch herring trawl.
4. To collect 0 and 1-group sole for Mr Riley.

Otoliths were collected and length and weight recorded. Guts were collected and gonads preserved in Gilson's solution and Bouins for fecundity and histological work. Sae bottom temperatures were recorded.
