| Objectives | 1. To compare quantity, size and sex composition of Nephrops and fish by-catch taken by a Nephrops trawl using different codend mesh sizes.
2. To assess predation on Nephrops from examination of fish stomachs and to preserve any Nephrops for later analysis. By-catches of whiting, long rough dabs, common dabs, cod and saithe were made. Cod and saithe stomachs were examined for Nephrops remains. |
