Objectives1) West coast herring trawling survey
2) Moray Firth current indicator releases
3) Collection of ripe lemon sole for rearing experiments
4) Cod tagging
5) A good proportion of the cod catch was examined for nematode infestation
6) Temperature and salinities were taken at the surface and bottom at all stations, and at all standard depths at a number of selected stations
7) An analysis was made of the plankton distribution
8) Nephrops larvae were taken at stations along the north coast and off the Butt of Lewis
9) Collections of phytoplankton material were made for Mrs Reid

Calls were made at Kyle on the 07/06/1966 and Stornoway on the 09/06/1966 to effect crew leave changes. The ship return to the North Sea on the 15/06/1966 to release current indicators at stations off Wick and in the Turbot Bank area.
