1) The asssembly and testing of a special gantry for handling ''Mobell'' 2) The height of the submarine cable above the seabed, and total length suspended was checked several times during the course of operations by divers 3) Measurements were made of the of the spread of warps 4) Measurements of tensions in the wire rigging of the trawl and in the warps before and during catching of the cable were made Mara was based at Buckie throughout the cruise returning to port from Cullen Bay each evening |
