| Objectives | Aims
1. To conduct multidisciplinary (acoustic and sampling) surveys within the Dogger Bank region of the North Sea. This work is in support of JNCC's requirement to designate SACs under the EU Annex I Habitats Directive. Plan Cefas Endeavour will sail from Lowestoft on the evening tide of 2nd April. A calibration of the vessel's multibeam system will be conducted en route to the Dogger Bank. Multidisciplinary survey work using acoustic (sidescan and multibeam), sampling (grab and trawl) and photographic (camera sledge, SPI) will be conducted throughout the cruise. The vessel will dock in Lowestoft on 20th April. |
