1. To carry out three inshore beam trawl surveys of parts of the Irish Sea and West Wales coasts.
2. To sample juvenile fish and identify sole nursery grounds.

Survey 1: Beam trawl survey of Tremadoc Bay. 27th-29th July.
Survey 2: repeat of 1, 24th-25th September.
Survey 3: beam trawl stations completed, 28th-29th October.
