Description
Summary

The water and sediment examinations carried out in 1994 and 1995 were done to assess the environmental impact of the treated effluents. The samples were taken once in June-July 1994 at 34 sampling stations near the outfall sewer from the municipal sewage treatment plant to the Puck Lagoon. The research was repeated in April 1995. Physico-chemical and microbiological analyses of water and the bottom sediments were done, together with some 900 chemical and 65 bacteriological analyses. Along the 4300m long profile a survey of brown algae occurrence was performed in 1994 by means of a device for underwater observations (combining video-camera, computer and GPS). The data set contains the results of analyses expressed in standard units and stored in the computer database. DAE IEP also owns the documentation in the underwater video-film form.
