The hydrological and hydrochemical, biological and hazardous substances data stored within historical INTERBASE database has been collected in frame of the Polish monitoring programme in accordance with HELCOM COMBINE manual. There are more thant 17,000 records for the period 1998-2013. Each record represents one measurement level. The database is regularly updated and quality controlled in accordance with IOC, ICES and HELCOM guidelines. This includes both formal control and scientific control. The cruise ID, cruise number in the year together with the ICES ship's ID and the station name form the key reference to the data records. Once a year data are sent to HELCOM data centres maintained by ICES Data Centre.
