Estuarine water of different salinities of the Ria de Aveiro, Portugal

The data set refers to 24 monthly samplings, half at high tide and the other half at low tide, in 4 sampling sites (M0, M1, M2, M3) of the Canal de Mira (1988). In 1989 and 1990, one of the stations (M0) was abandoned and monthly high tide samplings were performed in the other 3 (M1, M2, M3). In 1989 and 1990 data also includes results from sampling at a total of 8 seasonal tidal cycles, 5 at M3 and 3 at M1. The data set also includes results from a wider sampling program encompassing all the Ria de Aveiro at a total of 12 stations (P2, P4, P5, P6, P6a, P7, P9, P10, P11, P12, P15, P20). This data includes essentially the same parameters as for the Canal de Mira (with the exception of turbidity) and, in addition, fecal bacteria (TC, FC, FS) determinations.
