Description
Summary

Over the past 20 years data have been accumulated on the distribution of armoured dinoflagellates in the area of the North East Atlantic bounded by latitude 20° N and 70° N, longitude 5° E and 25° W, and benthic dinoflagellates around the coasts of UK. Over 2500 samples, collected by a range of oceanographic techniques, have been examined. To date 250 species have been identified and their distributions plotted using a 5 degree grid.
