| Summary | This data set has been assembled in the framework of MAST Project MERMAIDS (EU Contracts MAST-0039-C(A) and MAS2-CT93-0055) by: A. Artegiani, E. Paschini and A. Russo CNR, Istituto per le Ricerche sulla Pesca Marittima, Ancona, Italy D. Bregant and F. Raicich CNR, Istituto Sperimentale Talassografico, Trieste, Italy Version 4 supersedes all previous versions. A data quality check has not been performed, except for correcting obvious mistakes. Due to several changes in the techniques used in chemical analyses, the comparison between old and recent should be made with caution. The station identification has been re-numbered in sequence as the station appears in the data archives. However, the station code, as given by originators (when available), has been maintained as 11 alphanumeric characters in the header information of each station. |
