| Summary | Data were collected to provide size composition samples for lobsters, crawfish, edible crabs and spider crabs. Sampling covers the main fishery areas in England and Wales and provides the basic data for assessment purposes. The following data have been collected: lobsters, 1972 to 1997, all fisheries; crawfish, few samples, mainly after 1990; edible crabs, 1963 to 1983, mainly the South West, 1984 to 1997, all areas; spider crabs, 1976 to 1997, English Channel fishery. |
