Observations | |
Parameters | Electrical conductivity of the water column; Raw current meter output parameters; Raw temperature and/or salinity instrument output |
Instruments | Current meters; water body temperature sensor |
Description | |
Summary | The survey on subsurface currents conducted outside Mellieha Bay forms part of the study to identify the general phenomenology of the hydrodynamics along the northwestern coastal area of the Maltese Islands. The data set at Qawra Station runs from Summer 1993 to Summer 1994, where measurements were taken by one instrument at mid-depth position. These measurements were taken together with those at Ahrax station for the same period of time. |
