| Summary | Each year approximately 50-60 skippers, who are all paid volunteers, return completed logsheets which contain details of their daily catch. For each species data include the numbers by weight category by vessel by gear type, with part-time or full-time, and single or multihanded, designation. The data provide details of catch and effort for these commercially important non- quota species, and are used together with official landing statistics during stock assessment. |
