Summary | Ecological accounts of chalk sea shores were undertaken initially as part of an environmental impact analysis for Channel Tunnel construction, and specialist evidence for a Public Enquiry in relation to other proposed coastal engineering work. This was extended to complete the chalk shores theme volume for the Joint Nature Conservation Committee's Marine Nature Conservation Review (MNCR).
