| Objectives and Narrative |
Forms part of the ongoing Station W programme investigating the characteristics and consequences of interannual variations in the northwest Atlantic deep western boundary current (DWBC) as part of the US CLIVAR and UK RAPID programmes. The cruise was run in conjunction with the Station W moored array of 6 sites along the DWBC.
The cruise followed a line from off the continental shelf south of Woods Hole to Bermuda. 15 stations were visited and CTD, LADCP and discrete sampling measurements were taken at each. |
