PurposeTrials
ObjectivesTo test under realistic oceanographic conditions a number of new or modified instruments and their associtated hardware. Opportunity would also be taken to lay a mooring with one current meter on the shelf, a mooring with two current meters in deeper water and a deep sea tide gauge. All three units will be recovered in late March on a cruise of RRS John Murray
